Second review for these guys..... Just keep going back to the team at Outdoor Home improvements, due to trust...  Trust in turning up to quote, trust for actually quoting for the work, trust in knowing the quote is value for money, and trust that people turn up when stated and that the work done is to the appropriate standard....  Having had many contractors over the years, anything outside Richard and the team are the first port of call. Richard and crew have completed most of our outside of our property. Brilliant patio transformation by Outdoor Home Improvements Ltd. The survey and quote process by Craig was excellent - he was friendly, helpful and informative. The price was competitive, and the job was scheduled pretty rapidly. The ground work team were great, friendly, helpful, and reliable. These guys are AWESOME. We are delighted with how they completely transformed our garden, and we appreciated their expertise, their sheer graft in appalling weather, their countless great suggestions, their attention to detail — i.e. humouring my obsession with symmetry, or agreeing with my husband’s request to drill loads of different size holes in our stone wall to make habitats for bees. They removed all the old debris from our original garden, put up new fencing, built raised wooden beds, installed steel poles (and other really fiddley metal gubbins) for a washing line and an enormous sun sail, did ground prep and laid new resin with brick edging, put in a small wildlife pond, and laid a new lawn. They dug holes and planted trees, moved heavy stuff that we couldn't manage, and proactively fixed gates and the drainage on our rainwater downpipes. They also regularly jet washed the road outside to keep it clean for our neighbours. We love their work and their 'can do' attitude, and we've become total fans of porous resin — not only is it beautiful to look at, but we can't believe that we no longer get puddles even after prolonged winter rain, and although our driveway is sloping it isn’t slippery in icey conditions. We chose Outdoor Home Improvements because, in total contrast to another garden transformation company, when he came out to quote for the work Craig listened intently to what we had in mind and showed us lots of photos of relevant photos of other work that they'd done, so we felt confident that they'd do a great job from the get-go. We are overjoyed at the professional approach to our garden project. The guys had the added problem of coming through our home as we don't have any back entrance. From start to finish Outdoor Home Improvements provided a first class service and did an excellent job for us. They replaced our old wooden decking for new composite decking, removed the old shed, laid a new concrete base before erecting a new shed. They also built some new composite decking steps for us.  Their workmanship is top notch. And they were all very friendly, courteous and hard working, even going the extra mile to provide additional services such as building shelves for the new shed and providing and laying artificial grass inside and outside the new shed at no extra cost to us. Throughout the works, their communications were excellent and they took all the old decking, shed and steps materials away for us for disposal and cleaned up after each stage of the works.
