Artificial grass gives Bovey Tracey gardens a neat, green finish that stays usable through Devon weather. It is an excellent choice for small town gardens, courtyard spaces, and the grounds of period cottages or contemporary houses near the river and lanes around the parish.
We offer free, no-obligation quotes and free site surveys from qualified surveyors, and most products come with a 10 year guarantee on product and workmanship. Our Newton Abbot based, family run team carries out every job with in-house staff, never subcontractors.

With the right product and installation you can expect many years of use. We offer a 10 year guarantee on most products and workmanship, which gives added reassurance for local properties exposed to sun and rain.
Regular light maintenance keeps the appearance and performance, and our qualified surveyors will advise on the best turf for longevity during your free site visit.
Yes. We build a permeable base and use turf options that allow water to pass through, helping rainwater to drain away rather than pool on the surface. Proper preparation is the key to reliable drainage on Devon soils.
During the free site survey we check levels and recommend any additional work needed to ensure the finish performs well after storms and heavy showers.
Artificial grass is family friendly: it provides a soft, even surface for children to play on and is quick to clean after pets. We specify products that are durable under play and comfortable to walk on.
Our surveyors will suggest the right fibre weight and infill for your needs so the finished lawn suits children, elderly relatives and pets alike.
We aim to keep disruption to a minimum. Preparation and installation are completed by our in-house teams and timescales depend on site size and access. For small gardens work can often be completed in a day or two, while larger or more complex sites take longer.
Your qualified surveyor will explain the likely programme at the free site visit so you know what to expect before any work begins.
Yes. We offer free, no-obligation quotes and free site surveys carried out by qualified surveyors rather than salespeople. That ensures the quote and the design reflect the practical needs of your Bovey Tracey property.
All work is carried out by our own staff and covered by the product and workmanship guarantee on most items.
Maintenance is straightforward: occasional brushing to lift the pile, removing debris and hosing to clear dust or pet mess. Stubborn stains are usually removed with warm water and a mild detergent. We will recommend the best maintenance routine for the product you choose, and our in-house teams can offer aftercare advice if you prefer.
Artificial grass is also well suited to small commercial projects such as courtyard areas and play spaces. We have completed work for notable clients including Clevedon Hall, Moretonhampstead Swimming Pool and Lidl, and that experience informs our approach to durability and finish on larger jobs. Where a commercial site requires higher wear resistance or a specific finish we will propose suitable turf options and construction methods during the survey.
If you are ready to discuss artificial grass for your Bovey Tracey home or business, please call 01626 323525, email info@outdoorhomeimprovements.co.uk or request a free no-obligation quote and site survey. We will arrange a convenient time for a qualified surveyor to visit and explain the best options for your space.
Book Your Free QuoteInstalling artificial grass in Bovey Tracey starts with a site visit from one of our qualified surveyors. They will look at levels, access, neighbouring boundaries and existing surfaces so we can design a solution that fits your garden and the way you use it. For many town gardens that means trimming steps and edges to create neat joins to patios and pathways, or preparing a permeable base where soil and sub-bases vary across the plot.
We focus on practical details you will notice every day: choosing a turf with a pile height and fibre density that resists flattening but feels comfortable underfoot, and specifying an infill if needed to maintain stability and drainage. Our installations use a prepared sub-base that allows surface water to pass through, reducing the chance of puddles and helping the lawn recover after heavy rain.
The 10 year guarantee on most products covers both product and workmanship and is included in the quote paperwork. If you would like a survey, we can arrange a free, no-obligation visit at a time that suits you, and explain the options that work best for period cottages, modern builds or in-between properties around the town.
